Please don't invite me to join your crew - I will not accept !

Unfortunately I cannot commit to a crew as I do not have the time available to participate. And my lovely manager points are not for sale at any price (apart from a very sizeable donation to my hedgehog rescue !)

What does a league manager do all day ?

He helps to organise volunteers to provide the updates each season for all of the national and other leagues available on OFM. He also does a few himself !

He works very closely with two colleagues (Roelof and Hessel) who do the same job at OSM, the Benelux version of OFM (and the original version).

We share the workload, so not all of the leagues provided for managers on OFM are done by volunteers from OFM - some are provided by volunteers from OSM.

We share the same leagues most of the time, although some leagues are exclusive to OFM, and some just to OSM.

We do consider suggestions, but there are some leagues which we cannot accept. We have to consider how popular a league will be before it goes live.

To save yourself a lot of time, never just go ahead and do a league - it may not be accepted, or may even have been updated already by someone else - check with me first !

We have a special Guide for League Updaters which gives exact instructions on how to prepare and submit a new league or an updated league, and a special spreadsheet which needs to be filled in accurately. It's hard work providing a league update but we do reward managers for their work - 1 ticket for leagues up to 14 teams, 2 tickets for leagues with over 16 teams.
