World Cup Forum

Many of you visited the first-ever multi-lingual forum on OFM, and it proved to be a huge success, but what will happen to it now?

Prior to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the OFM staff at the Gamebasics HQ worked hard to create a new forum for us; the World Cup Forum. It proved to be incredibly popular, with managers from many different cultures, languages and opinions all venturing forward to voice their opinion. It was, as mentioned, the first time we have ever tried a single forum across all versions/languages of the game, and it is safe to say it was a huge success, which is mainly due to you, the forum users, who enjoyed participating in the discussions, helped them along, and (for the most part) adhered to the rules, and you were all ably aided by the fantastic team of moderators and staff who helped to run the forum; they know who they are.

However, with the World Cup now over, for another four years at least, the forum is now taking up too much server space, and so next week it will be closed and subsequently deleted. However, given its success, I'm sure it won't be long before we see several other similar forums on the game. In the meantime, you have a couple of days to re-read the topics if you'd like a dose of nostalgia, and if you missed out, now would be a perfect time to discover our forums, accessible under the "community" drop down option.
