With the return on summer football competitions, OFM also welcome their very own summer football-related competitions back too. Some of you may remember the highly popular prediction game from Euro 2008, and several GB guys have been working behind the scenes recently to make a similar competition for this summer's World Cup.

The competition, which is based on an external site, is calledWorld Cup Prediction Game 2010. The game, which has some lovely graphics and some intriguing statistics, tests your ability to predict football matches at the very highest tier of football; the World Cup. Do you think you are good enough to win the competition, and walk away with 1 of 5 prizes on offer, which range from 5 ST's down to 1?

The scoring system is very simple. If you predict the correct outcome, you get 4 points. On top of that, you can score a bonus point for each of the following: correct "home" team score, correct "away" team score, and correct goal difference, meaning that in total, it is possible to score a maximum on 7 points for every prediction that you get exactly correct. In the second round, this maximum increases to 8, by virtue of the fact that the outcome is worth 5 points, and it raises further to 6, 7 and then 9 points as the competition heads towards its climax. Bonus points can also be win by predicting the correct winner (20 points), each semi-finalist (10 points), the competitions top scorer (15 points), and the number of goals scored in the tournament (maximum of 10 points).
