Happy holiday season and best wishes for 2010!

Today is Christmas Eve and I am aware that not all OFM players celebrate it but in this globalized world no one begrudges others celebrating it.

Christmas in my native language Natal means birth so my wishes, to believers and non believers, is that it can be born or reborn on us the will to make this world a better place for us and our descendants.

Christmas is here once again and so are the usual festive questions; will we have a White Christmas? Will this Turkey give me salmonella? Why did the Chicken cross the road? Will the BBC have a decent film on?

But we have to remember that Christmas is a time for family and friends. It is a time for giving gifts to those who are close to you and getting gifts back in return...even if it is a dodgy knitted reindeer jumper from your grandmother; grin and bear it, you only have to wear it whilst she’s around!

It may have been a bad year for you, but remember that Christmas is a time where you can forget at what happened previously and then look to the future...so please make it a good time for yourselves and those around you.

Before I go any further I would like to wish all OFM members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Good luck in 2010 and may your dreams come true...and make sure you rock out to our Christmas Number One!
