OFM World Championship - The Final Result!

After fighting through three rounds of the OFM World Championships we have found our winner!

Several months ago 128 of the highest scoring managers in OFM took on the challenge of becoming the second OFM World Champion. As each round passed, the standard increased as we were left with just the last 16 battling it out in the final...and what a battle it was.

But at the end of it, we had a clear winner...

After the competition ended I caught up with him to get his thoughts on the competition;

How do you feel about winning the competition and how did you find the experience of competing?

"Well, obviously I'm very pleased by winning this competition because the first time I played OFM was in 2007 and I never imagined that two years later I would win the OFM World Cup... so it's like a surprise for me this accomplishment.

Nevertheless, I found this experience very interesting because it gave me the opportunity to compete against the best OFM players in the world, which is something very enriching for me, because, day after day, I try to be a better manager and competing with the best is obviously an excellent way to evolute my skills."

What is the secret to your success?

"I think that I my only secret is the fact that i believed in my manager skills. During this competition I've always tried to be humble and tried to do my best. My goal was never to win this competition because I never thought that I had enough abilities to accomplish that. So I think that there wasn't a specific secret that could lead me to win this WC."

Will you be hoping to retain the title next year if you qualify?

"I would be lying if I said no but at the same time i know that it will be a very difficult task, since everything can change in a year and there could be always a manager who can surprise us in this kind of competitions."
